The Nursing Aide provides routine safe care to the patients. He/She is responsible for providing a conducive environment for patients’ speedy recovery and to assist in Activities of Daily Living and therapeutic interventions.

Demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in carrying out patient care.

  • Hygiene
  • Hair wash
  • Oral hygiene
  • Bed sponging/ assisted bath/shower
  • Nail care
  • Shaving
  • Skin care
  • Serving Diet
  • Feeding patients orally

Monitoring, reporting and recording

  • Temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and pain assessment
  • Patient’s intake and output
  • Patient’s behaviour
  • Perform Blood Glucose Monitoring
  • Reporting any abnormalities to Staff Nurse.

Job Requirements Certificate / Diploma in Healthcare Preferably 2 year clinical experience as a Nursing Aide.

Proficient in conversational oral English.
