Vos missions Great assignments await you with our key account clients in rich and varied environments For Freelance (Contract) & Consultancy (Payroll) As a Senior ICT Infrastructure Expert, you will be part of the Central Infrastructure unit within the ICT Systems and Operations department. You will work within the ICT infrastructure, responsible for the design and build activities related to servers, storage, and backup systems in on-premise data centers. Your mission is to ensure the availability, performance, capacity, security, and optimal functioning of various ICT infrastructure components. To achieve this, you will work closely with internal ICT teams and contracted service providers responsible for housing, network, and server management. Key Responsibilities : You will manage Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 in the broadest and most advanced sense. You will work with tools and concepts such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, CIS security policies, certificates, LAPS, failover clusters, AD tiering, Citrix, group managed service accounts, GPOs, PowerShell scripts, Ansible playbooks, and more. You will identify design and build activities within your domain, gain support from business or ICT colleagues, and coordinate their execution. You will lead the implementation process, ensuring clear communication, documentation, processes, and procedures. You will transfer daily operational responsibilities to service providers and oversee their performance. You will provide advice and guidance to internal clients based on your expertise, and identify new or evolving needs. You will design solutions in line with identified needs and defined architectures, ensuring availability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with all ICT services (architecture, systems, data communication, security, etc.), application teams, and external service providers. You will create fully developed technical designs and lead their implementation. You will help steer external service providers and monitor timely and correct delivery of their services. You will contribute to new projects and initiatives, actively sharing your expertise. You will document developed solutions in a clear and understandable manner. You will identify bottlenecks in processes or service delivery and propose improvements. You will closely follow up on incidents, changes, and problems. You will communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. You have the following skills Profile Requirements: Must Have You have proven knowledge and experience with Citrix environments (Senior - 5+ years). You have strong experience designing and building technical solutions in Windows Server environments (Senior - 5+ years). You have in-depth experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (Senior - 5+ years). You have proven experience in software packaging and distribution using MCM/MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) (Senior - 5+ years). You have solid understanding and hands-on experience with Windows security and design principles, including policies, LAPS, AD Tiering, certificates, gMSA, failover clustering, and high availability. You have the ability to clearly demonstrate during an interview that your infrastructure designs follow security guidelines and industry best practices. You have fluency/Native in Dutch You have sufficient proficiency in English, spoken and written, to communicate effectively with international vendors. You have experience with incident and change management processes, aligned with the ITIL framework. Should Have You have experience with automation using Ansible and creating Ansible playbooks. You have proven knowledge and experience in data center management and transition projects within large enterprise environments. You have experience creating and testing Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures. You have strong scripting skills using PowerShell. You have experience working with VMware environments (version 6.5 and above). Nice to Have You have working knowledge of Linux distributions, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise, Ubuntu, or Debian. You have experience with disaster recovery of ICT systems in the Belgian energy sector.
