Senior Business Analyst – 6-Month Contract | Wellington
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support two concurrent transformation initiatives within a central government environment.
This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage complex requirements, engage stakeholders, and drive delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Role: Senior Business Analyst
- Location: Wellington (on-site presence required)
- Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
- Start: ASAP
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Clear, concise communication – written and verbal
- Proven ability to bridge business needs and complex technical delivery
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
- Experience with traceability from business needs through to delivery
- Ability to define and shape high-level requirements and problem statements
- Initiative, self-management and a solution-focused mindset
- Confidence explaining and championing Business Analysis best practice
- Adaptable and patient in complex delivery environments
- Able to work autonomously while keeping stakeholders aligned
- Comfortable operating across both discovery and detailed design phases
- Practical and outcomes-focused
