Salary: $41,600

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 4pm - 12am

Description

Concern Housing is seeking a Weekday Evening Counselor responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator in delivering direct services to clients and supporting the overall operation of the site. The counselor provides a range of services, including teaching skills, delivering concrete services, and providing counseling to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care services to clients.
• Documents client progress and related activities.
• Monitors the site, coordinates, and participates in house activities such as meal preparation, chores, recreational activities, and safety checks.
• Provides rehabilitative support in daily living skills, health services, and other areas as assigned.
• Monitors medication, performs medication counts, and prepares medication sheets.
• Assists with client transportation.
• Performs unit inspections and trains residents to maintain cleanliness.
• Remains current with all agency compliance documents and trainings.

Position Requirements

Full-time counselor positions require a Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline.
