The position is part of the Entertainment Brand Solutions group - a part of Disney Advertising Sales, an integrated cross-platform national advertising sales and marketing organization within the Disney Entertainment Television (DET) business segment that includes Disney+, Hulu, Disney Channels, ABC, ABC Owned Television Stations, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo, ESPN and Disney Digital.
Disney Advertising Sales is seeking a Coordinator to report into Director, Entertainment Brand Solutions. Coordinator supports the execution of process improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs across the organization. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and effectiveness. The Coordinator will also provide overall support for the ABC Scripted team. This role is based in Santa Monica, California.
What You Will Do
Process Support and Documentation:
Assist in mapping and maintaining current and future-state business processes using tools like Airtable
Make shared resources such as dashboards, process libraries, trackers
Gather and organize data to support performance tracking and reporting on key process indicators
Project Coordination:
Coordinate logistics, timelines, and documentation for process improvement projects and workshops
Help prepare presentations, status updates, and communications for internal stakeholders
Monitor project milestones and flag delays or risks
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Identify and escalate opportunities for process enhancements based on team feedback and performance data
Track and document recurring challenges or inefficiencies and help propose solutions or workarounds
Participate in post-mortem reviews to capture learned and improvement opportunities
Help monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and report on progress for stakeholders
Support the ABC Scripted team on day-to-day operation of advertiser driven marketing, addressable (streaming and social), and promotional programs related to ABC. Responsibilities may include:
Assist team in the development of client specific cross-platform marketing opportunities
Help with the management and execution of sold-in campaigns (linear, streaming, social, experiential)
Help manage project documents and files containing all marketing promotional elements to be executed, including comprehensive timelines and production schedules
Liaise with multiple departments for any sales material requests, programming inquiries, scheduling questions, marketing questions, social editorial inquiries, etc.
Assist with legal contract requests for sold-in campaigns and the processing of invoices
Help develop compelling pitch materials in Keynote and PowerPoint
Participate and attend key meetings supporting the team's day-to-day operations. Including:
Attend internal meetings & client meetings and take minutes/indicate follow-ups for meeting recaps
Participate in brainstorms as needed
Assist the team in scheduling meetings as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
1+ years of experience required, preferred 1-2 years of business administration, operations, marketing, sponsorship and/or media at a network, cable, promotional/media agency or entertainment studio
Proficiency in Airtable and SmartSheet is a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with deck creation through PowerPoint and Keynote
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize project workflow in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Not a requirement, but a plus: Strong familiarity with ABC/Disney Streaming Programming

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.How to Submit an Application:
