Product Engineer - Front-End - TypeScript Detroit, Michigan - On-Site Base - Benefits - Equity We are excited to have partnered with a truly fascinating Robotics Start-Up that is on a journey to revolutionize the Robotics Technology space.  To maximize opportunities, they are on the hunt for a Founding member to own their Product Engineering - Someone who is ready to lead and expand the front-end stack and shape product innovation through customer relations and feedback while orchestrating collaboration across this growing business.     If you consider yourself an expert in TYPESCRIPT, be obsessed with clean UI and a real appreciation for functional design, while thriving in the sweet spot between CUSTOMERS, PRODUCT DESIGN, and SCALABLE ENGINEERING - this could be an ideal opportunity!    The Role Requirements:

• Owning and evolving the company's core applications
• Rapid prototyping of new features and product requirements
• A bridge between technical capability, customer insight, and team execution
• Driving group orchestration, streamlining communication, delivery, process, and collaboration 
• Frontend (90%) Development with a huge influence on the end user interface and their experience 

Your Technical Toolkit:

• Passionate Frontend Specialist - TypeScript - expertise
• Python - proven extensive experience 
• HMI Principals - a good understanding of how humans and machines should interact 
• Robotics Experience - ideally in the realms of AMRs, AGVs, mobile or industrial robotics - open to all robotics backgrounds 
• Exposure to Manufacturing and/or Logistics industries 

Highly Desirable:

• Real-Time Data 
• GIS / Mapping Tools 
• ROS - Robotics Operating Systems 

Some Essentials:

• Detroit-based - this is a hands-on founding member hire, and must be willing to work on-site 
• Relocation packages offered
• Founding team member equity offerings 
• An entrepreneurial mindset and work ethic 
• Minimum of 4yrs technical experience 
• Start-up knowledge and experience
