The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of State agencies through a variety of services including information technology project delivery, maintenance, and support. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB supporting the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO), Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA).

This position functions as a Senior Information Technology Business Analyst (BA) in the Agency Services LEO, AG, GOV, UIA and MDOT area. This area is primarily responsible for supporting the Department of Technology, Management and Budget Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) Michigan Integrated Data Automated System (MiDAS) as well as the Michigan Unemployment Insurance (MiUI) UIA Modernization Project. These systems are essential for supporting Michigan citizens and employers with the needed functionality to meet their Unemployment Insurance needs. This position's primary responsibilities include: evaluating, documenting, and informing DTMB management and supported client agency of impact and risks, including disaster recovery planning, to existing IT solutions due to proposed legislation, enhancement requests, or changes in governmental processes or procedures, support and practice Agile methodology.

Position Location:This position is located in Detroit, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Signing Bonus:
Thisposition may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be
paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion
of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to
current state employees.
